Meet Lydia Jade

What Photography means to me…

For me, photography is that drive to hunt down those perfect memories, press pause and keep them for a lifetime. Whether it be the blushing bride looking at herself in the mirror, the giggles of siblings playing or that look of unconditional love between a Mother and Newborn baby, I am honoured to be part of a fraction of your journey through life.

I have always had a passion for photography since I was very young picking up my very first film camera to take on holiday. Being drawn into the Arts, first with my love of the Piano then focussing my studies on all aspects of the arts completing a Diploma in Art Foundation was where I really got the chance to focus on perfecting my skill and exploring the variety of film and digital photography.

I later went on to study at the University of Chester and mastered in Photography for my final year going forward to obtain a BA(Hons) degree in Photography with Fine Art. From 2015-2021 I gained more experience with all ages of children and adults as an Early Years Photographer venturing into School and Graduation Photography. In 2022, my photography was featured in the July edition of the Cheshire Life Magazine. I am always striving for my next challenge with Photography as it leads me to so many amazing avenues.

I am very fortunate that I can say I LOVE MY JOB! When I have my camera in my hand it never feels like work. I get to meet so many different people in all types of photography, no two days are ever the same. This is always inspiring new ideas for the next project that comes my way.
